Interested in tourney, but I do know that on Friday the 27th Yough is playing Southmoreland in School Ball which would prohibit any girls from either area playing Friday afternoon. Do you know how many games will be played on Friday?

Hi Dutch

I am assuming one game would be played on Friday. So that is not a problem  if a team cannot play on Friday. Just let Jeff know that you need to start your games on Saturday. He will try to work around all schedules for anyone who wishes to join us.

Thanks

I understand that there is a basket raffle planned for this event.  Our team is donating and I know some other teams have offered as well.  If each team were to bring one basket, it would be a great showing of support.

Kudos to Jeff and his team for doing this for Haley!

Just wanted to update all 14U teams on the following: I talked to Jeff this morning and we will NOT be playing any games on Friday at the 14U level. I know some were concerned with school ball conflicts so I wanted to clarify. Also Jeff informed me that we will have two umpires for each game.

Predators will be bringing a basket for the raffle too.  Our 12's and 14's are working together and they're filling one up quick.

Looking forward to meeting Haley!

Here is an update on the Tournament. We still have a few teams speaking with parents to see if they will be able to join us for the weekend. That should be wrapped up by next week sometime. We have room for 3 more 12U teams and could handle 5 more 14U teams. If you know of any please pass along. There will be no 14U games played on Friday unless we have teams that are available to play. We are going to play all the 12U games at Wyano/South Huntington Twp. Park Turkeytown/West Newton and the 14U games will be played at West Newton Park Ballfields off of N. Water Street in West Newton behind the Giant Eagle. The parks are about 3 mile apart. I sent out the t-shirt preorder forms to all the coaches please get those back to us as soon as possible.

I know there will be so many people to thank after this upcoming weekend, however I would like to do so now in advance. First, I want to thank Jeff, his team, and all of the Nitros who are working hard to make this weekend a success for Haley and her family. They are working tirelessly for this worthy cause. Very importantly, we all want to thank all of the teams who are attending, the offers of concession food, gift baskets and more, and offers of time and labor from so many peope outside of our organization. Your responses have been overwhelming and so very heartwarming. Thank you for coming together for this special child.

Hi RRSB

Can you send me your email at sandy@nitrofastpitch.org and I will email you both schedules as they are too large to post here and it won't take even reduced. Thank you so much.

Sandy, any idea what is going to happen for tomorrow with the weather due to be cold and rainy? Any decision made yet?

I'll see Jeff at 5:00 today and find out. The forecast keeps changing so I'm not sure but if I know anything I will be sure to post it on here either very late tonight or before 7 AM as I'm on duty-lol.  He has all of the coaches' phone number to get in touch with everyone.

Thanks

Let's all calm down and stop this talk of bad weather and delays.  Nothing but positive thoughts from here until morning!  See you all there - on time  for a great cause.

John, this is a great cause for sure but do we want to put our girls on the field in the morning when the temperature is 30 degrees?
